Advancing Collaborative Gospel Movements in Cities

Interaction among Kingdom networks needs to increasingly shift from conversation to collaboration that leads to collective impact for the transformation of our cities through the gospel.

Fostering collaboration is necessary to see vibrant and varied city movement models characterized by a spontaneous spreading of the gospel, vibrant churches being planted, deeds of mercy and justice multiplying, disciples of Jesus growing and being increasingly relied upon for the well-being of the city and its culture.

With compelling stories of best practices, developmental templates, and metrics the “Gospel Movements” track will provide a context where leaders from cities of comparable size and stage can engage around challenges such as: cross-sector collaboration, cultural diversity, and transformational metrics.

In five years, our desire is to witness the vibrancy of 25 city movement models, the emergence of key leaders in maturing city gospel movements, fifteen city-to-city global partnership models, and key leaders writing books, producing videos, and utilizing social media to engage the city.

We will provide an environment for strategic partnerships to develop, and we’ll nurture an on-going kingdom impact. We will provide maximum exposure to the best resources available: videos, booklists, coaching, and websites.

This Track is for:

  • kingdom leaders from all sectors and domains of a Gospel City Movement: public, private, and social (e.g., business, education, government, church, media, the arts, education, etc.).

TRACK OBJECTIVES/GOALS:

  1. To identify compelling principles of Jesus-led movements.
  2. To field panels of key leaders from Gospel City Movements focusing on topics that engage the question: What will it take to grow our movement to the next level?
  3. To provide the best resources for catalyzing and growing Gospel City Movements, including a template for attendees to contextualize the best take-away nuggets for implementation in their city.
