1) Leading City Campus Movements

College is still the most strategic and effective time to reach people with the gospel and to develop a trajectory of discipleship and leadership for the church in our world.  This track will explore examples of success on campuses in major city settings and consider possible models for more effective ministry. This track is for Directors of Campus Ministries and catalytic College Leaders in major urban centers.

2) Renewing Cities Through Church Multiplication Movements

Trends indicate that 80% of the world’s population will live in cities by the year 2030. The goal of this track is to ignite and cultivate church multiplication movements in North American cities through the speakers, panelists, peer learning and case studies. This track is for current and potential Urban Church Planters, Church Parents and Church Planting Network Leaders.

           

3) Dynamic Leadership: From Risk to Renewal

This track will encourage leaders to think critically and strategically about how to identify people and organizations at risk and the steps necessary to bring renewal to the culture, their organizations and their own personal leadership. This track is for Pastors, Ministry Leaders, Social Sector Leaders and others.

4) The HIV Pandemic and City Movements 

The HIV/AIDs pandemic is the greatest humanitarian crisis in human history. This is a highly interactive session with gifted thinkers and practitioners in the fields of HIV/AIDs and church mobilization. This track is for Pastors, Ministry Leaders, Marketplace Leaders, and Mission Mobilizers. 

5) Seeking God and Serving the City

God longs to speak to His people through Scripture and Prayer and to unite them to incarnate the gospel among cities through Service. The goal of this track is to have participants leave with next steps to advance movements of United Prayer, Scripture Engagement, and Service for their respective cities. This track is for City Network Leaders, Pastors, Prayer Leaders, and Marketplace Leaders.

 

6) Mobilizing a Movement to Rebuild Haiti

Well over a year after the catastrophic earthquake of January 2010, the Haitian people continue to be ravaged by the effects of extreme poverty. The goal of this track is to develop practical strategies, explore best practices, and identify a team of strategic organizational leaders so that an actionable plan can be implemented.  This track is designed for Non-Profit, Church, Business and Government Leaders.

 

7) City Movements and the Urban Homeless, Jobless, and Destitute

People of faith in America’s urban centers have not partnered together to fulfill their potential to be the single largest compassion and restoration force serving the homeless, jobless and destitute in their cities. This track will explore possible collaborations that could develop a “Rescue Alliance” between urban and suburban churches and para-church ministries in each city represented. Leaders involved in relief, homeless ministry, local churches, and the marketplace are encouraged to attend.

 

8) Trends, Implications & Strategies To Reach Today’s Urban Youth

How do we reach young people with the love of Christ in a new economy that requires more education and technological access, while single-parent families and the mass incarceration of Black and Latino men continue to increase? In this track we will gain a better understanding of three trends impacting today’s youth, initiate strategies to address these trends, and mobilize leadership teams to meet regularly to develop ongoing strategies in participating cities. 

 

9) Marketplace Leaders and City Engagement: Discovering Your Passion

A survey by The New York City Leadership Center and Values Research Institute found that two-thirds of Christian marketplace leaders in New York City were struggling to integrate their faith and their work in meaningful ways.  The great need is to identify and unleash the spiritual gifts and passions of marketplace leaders within their spheres of influence.  This track is for Christian marketplace leaders who desire to maximize their spiritual and social impact in a city transformation movement.
